Berry Partner Ltd. was founded in 2011. By the end of 2018, we managed to build a complete chain of production of healthy productive blueberry plants: from the tissue culture – to the finished planting material, which was fully acclimatized to the conditions of cultivation in Ukraine. In 2018, we passed the certification of both the nursery itself and the planting material that we offer our customers. The absence of viruses and bacterial contaminations was confirmed by the experiments of the “Department of Virology, Health Improvement and Reproduction of Fruit and Berry Cultures” at the Institute of Horticulture of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences of Ukraine.
Currently, the installed capacity of our laboratory and nursery allow us to produce up to 250 thousand plantlets of blueberry per year and to grow.
The quality of blueberry seedlings is the main value and philosophy of the Berry Partner Ltd. That is why, in an effort to meet the growing demand for planting material, we have not use the cuttings – a widespread and relatively inexpensive method of plant propagation, which does not provide any guarantee of a healthy state of outputs.
The micro-clonal propagation method (InVitro), which we follow in our practice, is a modern biotechnology that is used in all developed European countries. In the modern berry business, when you laying a plantation of berries for a long time ahead, the quality of the planting material is a must important feature. So, we strive to become your reliable chain of success for your long-term berry business.
In the range of products manufactured by our company, the Northern varieties of blueberry are: the early (Duke, Bluejay), medium (Bluecrop, Bluegold, Berkley, Legacy) and late (Elliott, Coville).
We work with varieties of blueberry that have already proven well in the countries of Eastern Europe, Poland, Romania and Belarus, and which are characterized by high yields resistance to low winter temperatures in a climate zone of the territory of Ukraine.
We want our products to have a good qualitative, but also to be affordable to our customers. That is why, for the organization of berry business, we offer: two-year plants in a two-liter pot (which is considered as the reference planting material which is well fitted to develop a new blueberry plantation), and one and half year old plants (in P9 pot) or 6 month plantlets (70 ml of root volume) in multipallet with a lower price, but they need investments in time and gardening material grooming.
